She's smiling again! Novak Djokovic's model wife Jelena flashes a grin as she joins stars including Hugh Jackman to watch her husband cruise to a semi-final place

  • Jelena Djokovic looked happy as she cheered on Novak at US Open
  • Pretty Serbian wore a £670 Erdem dress and chatted to Hollywood stars
  • Team Djokovic included Ben Stiller and Hugh Jackman and their wives
  • Jelena, 30, had previously looked glum in Djokovic's first-round match

Perhaps it was the fact that Hugh Jackman was sitting nearby, or that her tennis star husband was enjoying an easy time on court... whatever the reason, Jelena Djokovic definitely looked happier during her latest Flushing Meadows appearance.

The glamorous Serbian, 30, took her seat in Team Djokovic amongst Hollywood royalty last night as the world number one cruised through to a US Open semi-final place.

Wearing a £670 Maia Carnation-print sleeveless dress by Erdem teamed with a black cardigan and carrying a Ralph Lauren shopping bag, Jelena chatted to her husband's coach, Boris Becker, before turning to talk to Jackman and Stiller, who were sat behind her.

The Hollywood stars, with their respective wives Deborah-Lee Furness and Christine Taylor, were clearly enjoying a court-side joke as they fooled around on their grand slam night out.

On court, it was a veritible walkover as Djokovic received a free ride into the semi-finals after opponent Jo-Wilfried Tsonga pulled out with a left knee injury.

Next up for Djokovic in the grand slam is 10th seed Gael Monfils, who had earlier beaten fellow Frenchman Lucas Pouille 6-4 6-3 6-3.

The Serbian athlete will potentially meet GB's Andy Murray in the final.

The Serbian beauty had grabbed the headlines last week after she appeared stony-faced during her husband's first round match of his defence of the U.S. Open crown.

The Serbian beat Poland's Jerzy Janowicz 6-3, 5-7, 6-2, 6-1 but it was a laboured performance that suggested he has not regained the form that made him the Number One player in the world rankings.

Djokovic had blamed 'private issues' for crashing out of Wimbledon to American Sam Querrey, who was seeded only 28th, in the third round of the tournament.

Djokovic was in tears after he lost to Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro in the first round at the Olympics in Rio.

There was speculation about the state of his marriage, especially after Jelena went on holiday without him straight after Wimbledon.

In March, he was also seen out at a trendy Los Angeles bar with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.

Djokovic recently blamed his dip in form on external factors, although he refused to explain exactly what the problem was.

He said: 'It was nothing physical. It's not an injury. It was some other things that I was going through privately.

'We all have private issues and things that are more challenges than issues. Things that we have to encounter and overcome in order to evolve as a human being. It was resolved. Life is going on like everything else.'

Novak married Jelena Ristić, his childhood sweetheart, in July 2014 and they have a 22-month-old son, Stefan.
