Rashida Jones and Taylor Schilling look chic at Rachel Comey's show during NYFW

It was the first day of New York Fashion Week and per usual it was a star-studded day of style.

Rashida Jones and Taylor Schilling both stepped out in all white - proving that the Labor Day rule is long outdated - for the Rachel Comey fashion show on Wednesday in the Big Apple.

The Parks And Recreation star, 40, and the Orange Is The New Black actress, 32, made a chic statement as they led the celebrity charge sitting front row for a prime view of the catwalk.

Parker Posey, 47, was also in attendance for the outdoor presentation but she chose a denim on denim look.

It came as no surprise that all three ladies were decked out in Comey's duds while taking in the designer's new fall fashions.

Rashida opted for white separates which featured a trendy fringe detail on both pieces and finished off the crisp look with black open toe clogs showing off a red pedicure to match her manicure.

The Los Angeles native added a coordinating watch to her look and highlighted her eyes with liner and sported a glossy pink pout.

The brunette beauty wore her tresses in a chic straight bob which featured blunt bangs covering her forehead.

Rashida arrived to the show shielding herself from the bright day with a pair of retro sunnies and stayed caffeinated with a to-go cup of coffee in hand.

Meanwhile, Taylor donned white from head to toe which included a pair of square block heeled pumps.

The Argo star looked relaxed as she posed with her hands in the pockets of her slim-fit and cropped pants.

Rashida Jones was one of the many celebrity attendees at the Rachel Comey runway show to kick of NYFW.

The Parks and Recreation star took in the new collection from the front row wearing a look from the designer's Fall 2016 fashion show that consisted of a fringe blouse and matching culottes.

We love that on trend wide-leg silhouette, and the rows of frayed fabric give the ensemble an edgy effect. Plus the neutral white hue displays a summery vibe that we're still trying to hold on to. Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day?

Although she teamed the look with just a simple sweater, the actress chose to minimally accessory only donning a few gold rings.

The blonde beauty wore her tresses down and looked pretty with a simple daytime make-up look which played up her blue eyes.

Parker gave off a 60s vibe in her breezy blue blouse which was paired with flared and cropped jeans.

As Comey's collection was presented it was clear that Taylor and Rashida were perfectly on trend as they matched the white ensembles that were modeled on the runway.

Overall the theme was simple elegance featuring many structured pieces. Artful custom textiles, graceful modern silhouettes, and covetable footwear no doubt caught the attention of the celebrities in attendance.
