She wasted no time getting inked after turning 18 last month.

But although the model revealed that she's wanted to get a tattoo for years, her chosen inking bears a striking resemblance to the artwork on her new flame Justin Bieber.

On Thursday, Sofia debuted her two new inkings on Snapchat, including a small cross on her middle figure in similar style to her beau's under eye art.

Visiting Jonathan 'Jonboy' Valena the same tattoo artist favoured by her beau, Sofia had a tiny, black inking of a cross etched on the inside of her left, middle finger.

After the Snapchat Sofia also posted a photo of the completed tattoo on Instagram, gushing: 'Wanted this cross forever!! Thank you @jonboytattoo your the best.'

The design mirrors the cross Justin had inked under his right eye earlier this year, which Jonboy told Us Weekly 'represented [Justin's] journey in finding purpose with God.'

Sofia - who started dating Justin over the summer - documented her journey to get inked on Snapchat, and was seen laughing nervously in the video as she admitted: 'I'm really scared!'

Sofia looked casual for the outing, sporting a loose-fitting black T-shirt worn tucked into a pair of skintight, black jeans.

She covered her wavy, short, blonde tresses with a textured, grey baseball cap, and kept her make-up natural.

The daughter of Lionel Richie was spotted goofing around with a friend in the video, before expressing her nerves as New York-based tattoo artist JonBoy prepared to get to work.

The artist - of West 4 Tattoo in the West Village in New York City - was then filmed as he inked the small finger tattoo on Sofia on Thursday.

That same day Sofia also got a second faith-based tattoo, having a tiny '13:4' inked on the back of her neck in black ink.

The '13:4' likely represented the beloved bible verse - 1 Corinthians 13:4 - which reads: 'Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.'

JonBoy seemed to confirm that this was the case, as he captioned the picture of Sofia's tattoo with hashtag 'love.'

She was likely referring to pieces from Rihanna's Fenty x Puma collection, which were released earlier this week.

'These are just... next. Next. Next!' Sofia gushed, as she modeled a grey pair of the stylish new shoes.
