Fashion royalty: Victoria Beckham, 42, was a vision of grace and beauty as she stepped out on Wednesday for the first day of New York Fashion Week
Clad in a crisp white shirt, Victoria - who launched her eponymous fashion label in 2008 - nailed the masculine trend, but tucked in the blouse so she would not swamp her petite figure.
Teaming the garment with billowing black trousers, she also donned a pair of sensible but stylish Grecian style sandals as she strolled out of her hotel.
No doubt filled with her designs and show preparations, the star held a large black handbag, but added to the glamour by grasping it like a clutch.

She also injected some glitz with a chunky gold watch and matching ring that added a subtle splash of colour.
Sticking with her trademark style, the former Spice Girl also donned a pair of oversized sunglasses which flattered her heart shaped face.
She finished off the look by styling her chestnut coloured locks in loose waves that framed her flawless complexion.

Meanwhile, Victoria currently appears on the cover of the October issue of British Vogue where she wrote a poignant letter to her younger self.
Despite being a recognised style icon now, she reflected on her not-so stylish teen years as she admitted to being 'not the prettiest, or the thinnest'.
She wrote: 'You have never properly fitted in, although you are sharing your Surrey school digs with really nice girls. You have bad acne.
'You think the Principal has put you at the back of the end-of-year show (in a humiliatingly bright purple Lycra leotard) because you are too plump to go at the front. (This may or may not be true.)'
