'Damn, I am an ADULT!' Christie Brinkley's lookalike daughter Sailor, 18, sizzles in silver gown for first red carpet without her model mom
She celebrated her 18th birthday in July.
And Sailor Brinkley Cook marked another milestone on Thursday as she walked her first red carpet without her supermodel mother Christie Brinkley.
The teen looked absolutely stunning in as she attended Daily Front Row's 4th Annual Fashion Media Awards at Park Hyatt in New York City.

Sailor turned every head in a backless silver velvet gown, which clung to her figure in all the right places.
The budding model teamed the floor-length frock with red heels and a gold necklace with her name on it.
Sailor wore her long blonde hair in bouncy curls and finished off her glamorous look with metallic eyeshadow and red lipstick.
You wouldn't have guessed it was the rising star's first time walking a red carpet alone, as she looked like a pro while pouting, smiling and twirling for the cameras.

Look sterling in a silver slip dress like Sailor's
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the case of Sailor Brinkley who seems to be a mirror image of her glamorous mother.
She stepped out on the red carpet yesterday evening to celebrate the Fashion Media Awards wearing this dazzling silver maxi dress from T by Alexander Wang.
The slinky sterling number made of velvet hovered over her curves and hung from the thin spaghetti straps before it fell to the floor in a graceful column.
Slip dresses are big news this season thanks to the nineties resurgence, and we’re loving the longer length of Sailor's which is perfect for black tie events as well as glam date nights.
Sadly this exact number is now sold out, but the market is flush with similar alternatives. That being said, take a look at some of our favorite in the edit below!
Milestone occasion: This marked Sailor's first time walking a red carpet without her supermodel mother
Once inside the event, Sailor was spotted catching up with Cindy Crawford's 15-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber, who is also following in her mother's model footsteps.
After she got home, the teenager shared a selfie as she admitted she feels like 'an adult' after her big debut.
'Live pic of me sittin here at my humble abode takin a stretch thinking about how i just did a real life red carpet event without mi mamacita for the first time,' she wrote.

Sailor's father is Christie's fourth husband Peter Cook, and she also has 30-year-old half-sister Alexa Ray Joel (whose dad is Billy Joel), and half-brother Jack Paris, 21.
Jack's father is Richard Taubman, but he was adopted by Peter and named Jack Paris Brinkley Cook.
While Sailor's modelling career is taking off, she remains focused on her studies.

Last month she moved into a new apartment in New York City ahead of beginning her freshman year at the prestigious Parsons School of Design.
Meanwhile Sailor recently hit back at online critics and urged them to stop comparing her to her mother.
'First of all — everyone needs to stop putting me and my siblings and me and my mother in competition. I believe comparison will kill you,' she wrote on Instagram.

'Comparison to others is toxic and unhealthy... As long as I am happy healthy and kind to others why should i care if i am not as 'pretty' as someone else ? Let alone not as "pretty" as my own blood relatives?
'And lastly... The subject i have been meaning to touch on publicly for years — stop. comparing. me. to. my. mother. Believe it or not I am my own person with my own beliefs and own thoughts and my own face! Eyes smile teeth forehead! All mine! The whole shabang!
'Yes i am so fortunate that my mother is my mother.. And she will always be an inspiration to me... But being constantly compared to her 50+ years of success at only 18 years old? And being told I could never amount to what she was and what she looks like? Doesn't feel great.'
