But those days looked long gone for Vince Vaughn as he showed off his new look bald head in New York on Thursday.
The 46-year-old was sporting his aerodynamic new style just days after drawing envious glances due to his luxuriously thick locks at the premiere of Mel Gibson's latest directorial effort Hacksaw Ridge.

The star looked far from his usual handsome self thanks to his bald head and casual ensemble of T-shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers.
Father-of-two Vince certainly looked far from the dashing elder gentleman who turned heads at the premiere of his comeback movie in Venice International Film Festival in Italy at the weekend.
The Dodgeball favourite stars as Sergeant Howell in the hotly-tipped Second World War picture, which tells the story of a US Army medic who was awarded the Medal of Honor despite being a conscientious objector.
He was recognised by President Harry S. Truman after he single-handedly saved the lives of more than 75 men while under constant enemy fire during the Battle of Okinawa.
However it seems unlikely the noted Hollywood conservative has adopted his new look for its stylistic merits.

Instead, it seems likely he is getting ready to shoot his latest movie project Brawl in Cell Block 99.
A bald look would certainly give him a tougher look when he appears in the action film, which is currently in pre-production.
Dexter star Jennifer Carpenter is attached to star, while Don Johnson is also rumoured to have a role.
