'Gonna miss these guys so much': Tom Fletcher posts adorable family snap as he heads off on tour with McFly

He's a dedicated family man.

So it's perhaps not surprising that Tom Fletcher was sad to be leaving his family behind to embark on a UK tour.

The McFly star, 31, shared an adorable snap to his Instagram followers on Monday afternoon which no doubt melted hearts among his fanbase.

Uploading the four-strong selfie, the cute image sees him with wife Giovanna and their two sons, Buzz and Buddy.

Smiling broadly as he looks into the camera lens, the acclaimed songwriter and guitarist oozes pride.

He captioned the snap: 'Off on tour, gonna miss these guys so much this week,' which he capped with a series of sad emoticons. 

Unsurprising, the snap was 'liked' more than 100,000 times in just one day and generated countless affirmative comments. 

A few hours later, Giovanna shared her own snap of herself with the boys, writing: 'Good moooooorning! We've just facetimed daddy. Can't have him missing the early wake up calls! '.

It comes as McFly opened their highly-anticipated Anthology Tour in Manchester.

The tour sees the foursome perform together as McFly for the first time since 2013, when the band went on hiatus for McBusted's two massive arena tours. 

Selling out in 10 minutes, the tour will see the band play historic rock venues across London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester.

The boys will play three nights in each city, with each concert featuring a different set list from a different McFly album, alongside some of the band's biggest hits.
