She tied the knot with her long-term love of two years Alex Partakis in a stunning Italian wedding earlier this month.

And Heidi Range has now treated her fans to a series of sweet snaps from the couple's lavish honeymoon in Japan.

The former Sugababes singer, 33, and the handsome property developer seemed to be having an absolute blast as they discovered the sights and sounds of the city of Kyoto during their first few days as husband and wife.

Honeymoon bliss: Newlywed Heidi Range has treated her fans to a series of sweet snaps from her lavish honeymoon in Japan, posing with a traditionally-dressed Geisha in one

Excitedly posting a snap to her Twitter page of a glass of champagne and a chic passport holder personalised with her new initials, the ex-pop princess gushed: 'Have been waiting quite a while to get this stamped! The Honeymoon begins.'

After safely arriving in Japan, Heidi kept the excitement up by taking to the social media site again, this time with a snap of the couple posing in a beautiful Shinto shrine.

The stunning new bride, who opted for a colourful knee-length dress, beamed as she posed alongside her new husband.

Alex artfully matched his orange polo neck with the scenic surroundings as he sweetly draped his arm around the Liverpudlian beauty.

In another snap Heidi posed alongside a traditionally dressed Geisha, with the caption: 'Such an privilege to spend the afternoon with this beautiful Geisha.'

The pair exchanged vows in front of a whole host of celebrity guests, including former X Factor presnter Kate Thornton and actress Tamzin Outhwaite, in a stunning ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, earlier this month.

Taking to Twitter on her big day, Heidi shared a stunning image with her new husband, while adding the caption: 'So this just happened... Mr & Mrs Partakis On cloud 9! I love you my Husband @alexpartakis X'.

The lovebirds, who have been together since 2014 after being set up by a personal trainer, became engaged in May after the property developer popped the question after 18 months of dating.

Heidi revealed in an interview with the Scottish Daily Record published not long before her engagement that she was hoping for a proposal, but didn't want to jinx things.

'I try not to think about it – I could be waiting a long time', she joked when asked whether an engagement was on the cards.

Heidi was previously engaged to presenter Dave Berry, 37, who she dated for eight years, but they called time on their romance in December 2011.

The star has turned her back on music since chart-topping girl band the Sugababes went their separate ways, confirming the news in the autumn of 2013 after a long hiatus.
