Silver Spoons star Ricky Schroder and his wife Andrea have split just weeks before reaching their 24th wedding anniversary.

The couple have four children between the ages of 15 and 24.

Andrea filed divorce documents in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences, TMZ reports.

Andrea, 44, requested sole legal and physical custody of their youngest, Faith, with visitation allowed for Ricky, 46.

She is also seeking spousal support.

The former couple are parents to daughters Faith, 15, Cambrie, 19, and sons Holden, 24, and Luke, 23.

Like their father, the children have gone on to pursue acting.

Faith's sole credit as an actress includes an appearance on the Disney show Shake It Up, which she appeared on in 2013.

The daughters are friends with fellow model Cindy Crawford's daughter Kaia Gerber, who lives in Malibu with her family.

Cambrie and Faith both have a strong social media presence, collectively commanding over 160,000 Instagram followers.

In 2013, worried that the soil surrounding Faith's school contained contaminates, Ricky took Faith out of Malibu Middle School and put her into independent study, TMZ reported at the time.

The actor said he would be in independent study once it was deemed safe to head back to campus, adds the website.

Ricky and Andrea wed in 1992 after meeting in Canada.

'Ricky and I met in Canada when I was just 18 years old and he was 20,' she told Malibu Times last year.

When in France: Andrea shared a photo of herself during a recent visit to Versailles, in which she indicated she had returned to school by including in the caption, '#schoolagain'

Andrea, an interior designer who runs a candle company, went on to explain the dynamics to their relationship, adding that as opposites, they did encounter conflict.

'Ricky and I are like one — we have grown up together. Ricky attacks life. He’s fearless, highly intelligent and super cute. I add the beautification side to the family and teach values, traditions, art, travel,' she said.

'We are opposites, which can be extremely synergistic, but can also cause conflict so, like anything worthwhile, our marriage takes effort.'

Andrea seemed to indicate she had returned to school in a recent Instagram post taken in France.

The mother-of-four shared a photo of herself during a trip to Versailles in France, which she captioned, 'Life is moving so fast and there are moments when I grieve the stages of life that I used to dream about that now have passed; like getting married, having a baby, building a home, first day of school or last day of college.

She tagged the ISIPCA school, which teaches students about the perfume, cosmetics, and aroma trades.

In June, Andrea shared a photo of all four of her children overlooking a ledge in Spain, which she captioned, 'Cliff jumping.'

Ricky commented on the image, 'We raised em right. Full of courage and kindness.'
