He and Mariah Carey were the epitome of style when they were a couple.

Nick Cannon looked far from that dapper guy as he stepped out for an evening out in Hollywood with his rumoured girlfriend Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas on Wednesday night.

The 35-year-old America's Got Talent host traded the three-piece suit for a black tank T-shirt that showed off his tattooed arms, black jeans and rapper bandana among other edgy accessories.

The couple was out celebrating the season 11 finale of the talent competition show and Nick was certainly styled up.

Along with the darkly distressed clothes, Nick wore a thick gold chain and black Converse trainers that seemed to underline the fact he wanted to distance himself from the guy he used to be.

He kept a firm grip on Rozonda as they arrived to the ultra hip Warwick lounge where he played his DJ set.

Nick used to match Mariah's glittery style in flashy attire - tweed suits with waistcoat, stiff-collared shirts and ties, a handkerchief in his lapel.

It all seemed to match whatever Mariah was wearing and no doubt as they always liked to pose up together.

That was then and this is now - Nick has shed that image for good it seems especially since he's taken up with the TLC hitmaker.

Nick and Rozonda, who, at 45, is 10 years his senior, were linked earlier this summer and have been spotted on numerous occasions.

Back in July, Nick remained coy about his crush but still couldn't hide his glee about the singer when he told E! News: 'She's amazing. She's an outstanding person but you gotta ask her what's going on.'

He added: 'I'm new to this! How does this whole thing work? Right now I'm damaged goods, I need to be repaired.'

Nick and Mariah were married in 2008 but filed for divorce in 2014. They share five-year-old twin brother and sister Moroccan and Monroe.

Mariah, 46, has moved on as well and is happily engaged to Australian billionaire James Packer.
