Groovy baby! Miley Cyrus wears '60s inspired jumpsuit for NYC premiere of Crisis In Six Scenes... and avoids  red carpet as promised

Miley Cyrus vowed to 'never do a red carpet again.'

And the 23-year-old kept her word while attending the world premiere of her Amazon series Crisis In Six Scenes on Thursday in New York City.

The jumpsuit-clad actress headed directly inside the Crosby Street Hotel for the screening of the Woody Allen created and directed comedy.

The former Disney star recently told Elle magazine that she won't walk red carpets anymore.

The last time she walked the red carpet was for the December 2015 premiere of the Netflix special A Very Murray Christmas. 

Miley said in the October issue: 'I will never do a red carpet again. Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that's red?'

Adding: 'Because I'm "important"? Because I'm "famous"? That's not how I roll. It's like a skit - it's like Zoolander.'

The singer slipped into the hotel for the premiere without stepping on the red carpet.

Miley sported a long-sleeved jumpsuit featuring images of people and things from the sixties emblazoned all over.

The high-neck one piece featured loose bottoms and a gold rope belt highlighting her slim waist. 

The former Hannah Montana star sported sparkling nylons with sky-high platforms - completing her stylish ensemble.

The artist wore her blonde colored tresses up in a top knot while keeping her makeup to a minimum.

The Wrecking Ball singer highlighted her gorgeous features with matte pink lipstick, shimmery brown eye shadow and defined brows.

In the six episode series - which is set in the sixties - Miley plays a hippie that shakes up the life of Woody's character and his on-screen wife.

The series, which also stars Elaine May and Rachel Brosnahan, will premiere on the streaming service on September 30.

The Voice coach is currently in a relationship with Liam Hemsworth; the twosome are back together after they called off their engagement in 2013.

The lovebirds are writing a play together, according to a source for Us Weekly.

The magazine reports that the actors are writing a script for a 'dramatic love story.'

The source said that: 'Miley is always writing, drawing and making music. Liam helps out. They're so creative.'

Miley and Liam, 26, are also reportedly planning their wedding; rumors swirled that they would tie the knot in Australia with a honeymoon in Bora Bora but both ideas have been taken off the table.

Us Weekly's insider added: 'Miley and Liam do not want gifts. They're going to ask all of their guests to donate to a charity of their choosing.'
