She's been romantically linked with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris but on Thursday Jennifer Lopez brushed aside the rumors as she continued filming her NBC cop drama Shades Of Blue.

The actress and singer was back on the New York location set of the series that's currently lensing its second season.

The National Enquirer claimed this week that the 47-year-old stunner and 32-year-old former boyfriend of Taylor Swift have been spending a lot of time at a Las Vegas hotel together under the guise that they have been working out a music project.

JLo recently split from much younger beau Casper Smart, 29, after a years-long on/off again relationship.

A source told the weekly tabloid that 'Calvin and Jennifer are very careful to not be seen together.'

'It's very early days, and they're keeping things on the down-low,' the anonymous insider added. 'They've become really close. There's epic chemistry between them.'

Calvin split with Taylor back in May after 15 months of dating.

In June, he attended J-Los's 47th birthday bash in Las Vegas where, according to reports at the time, the two discussed a possible music collaboration.

So far, apart from some social media snaps, there's been no public sighting of the EDM producer and Jennifer together.

Her project: Jennifer serves as an executive producer of the NBC cop drama as well as being the series star and was instrumental in getting the show renewed for a second season

He's in charge: Ray Liotta, who lays JLo's corrupt boss, was spotted with a large axe as he shot a scene with JLo and Drea

During the location shoot in Queens on Thursday, JLo was joined by co-stars Drea de Matteo and Ray Liotta.

Liotta, who plays her sleezy boss in Shades Of Blue, was carrying an axe which it seemed he was prepared to sue to batter down a front door.

In the show, Jennifer plays Detectove Harlee Santos who's forced to work for the police department's anti-corruption unit whilst serving under Liotta's corrupt Lieutenant Matt Wozniak.

Plot twist: In the show, the actress and singer plays a detective working for the department's anti-corruption unit unbeknownst to Liotta's sleezy police lieutenant

What's he need that for? The former Goodfellas star seemed rather attached to his axe as he sat on a stoop between takes

In costume: Jennifer wore wide-legged navy blue pants and a scoop-necked black sweater with half-length sleeves

During a break in filming, the stars flagged down an ice cream vendor and got some icy treats to feast on.

Jennifer was seen sitting in a director's chair eating ice cream from a cup with a plastic spoon as her director Peter Weller licked a sprinkles-covered ice cream cone beside her.
