He got his millions! Tom Cruise, 54, 'lands sweet deal for Mission: Impossible 6' after pay dispute halted pre-production this summer
It looks as if Tom Cruise will be playing Ethan Hunt once again.
On Friday the Hollywood Reporter claimed the 54-year-old actor is very close to signing on for Mission: Impossible 6.
Pre-production on the action movie was brought to a halt this summer when the star and Paramount pictures could not agree on his compensation. But that has all been cleared up now, the site is alleging.

'Negotiations with Paramount took an unexpected turn with the studio, which was co-financing the movie with Skydance, digging in on things such as backend profit participation,' wrote the Reporter's Borys Kit.
The film had originally been slated for a January 2017 start date. Now it will begin shooting in spring 2017.
Christopher McQuarrie wrote the script and will direct.

His last, titled Rogue Nation, was released in North America by Paramount Pictures on July 31, 2015. In its opening weekend it took in $56 million at the U.S. box office and went on to gross $195 million in North America and $682 million worldwide, becoming the second highest-grossing film in the series.
