Mark Wright axes DJ set worth £5k at Ipswich hotel at last minute...before event dissolves into 'debauched night of reality TV partying'

Mark Wright axed a planned DJ set at the last minute on Thursday.

The 29-year-old former reality TV star had been booked to provide the entertainment at the Penta Hotel Ipswich launch, with an agreed fee of £5,000, but when he got to the venue, his rep decided not to go ahead with it. 

Speaking to MailOnline, Simon Jones explained: 'The organisers were not transparent about the event, and the DJ set was booked as a private gig, not a press event with other celebrities attending.'

He added: 'I don't allow my artists to do press events with having someone there or agreeing to terms in advance.

'If they had been honest about it being a press event in the first place - it would never have been booked.'

MailOnline has contacted the Penta Hotel Ipswich and is waiting for a response.

The Daily Mirror reports that Mark didn't even get out of his car on arrival as his team advised him against it. 

Mr Jones told the paper:"I personally pulled Mark from DJ'ing last night as I didn't feel it was an appropriate event for his DJ set.

"The organisers weren't transparent about it being a red carpet press event, and when I found out, I made the decision to decline him DJ'ing and not to attend."

And it appears to have been the right decision for Mark, with The Sun claiming that the event 'turned into a debauched night of reality TV partying'.

Charlotte risked a wardrobe malfunction as she got touchy-feely with her tattooed glamour model pal, almost flashing a little too much as she cocked her leg up in her tiny thigh-skimming playsuit.

Jemma kindly reciprocated the saucy antics as she bent down jokingly to gesture to Charlotte's boobs with her tongue.

The reality star continued romance rumours with her other co-star and CBB winner Stephen Bear as they began the festivities walking hand-in-hand into the party.

Speaking about Mark - who is married to Michelle Keegan - a source said: 'It's not the sort of company Mark wants to be associated with.

"Although Michelle trusts him 100 per cent, the type of girls at the bash will be throwing themselves at him, making him feel uncomfortable.

'Also the time he spends with Michelle is precious, so he would rather be at home when he can.'

Blue's Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan reportedly performed at the bash.
