But Lea Michelle proved she was winning in the fashion stakes too as she stepped out in style for a stroll around Los Angeles on Thursday.

The singer and actress, 30, pulled off a cool cowgirl look, wearing a chic stetson and cute heart-shaped bag as she headed out for the day.

The Scream Queens star wore her dark locks poker straight and injected a welcome bolt of colour to her ensemble with a slick of pillar box red lipstick.

Lea was joined by a female pal, who rocked a low-key ensemble of jeans, a loose white top and sliders.

Earlier this week, the actress opened up about finally being able to move on from the devastating death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.

Cory died in 2013 in a hotel room after accidentally overdosing at the age of 31 after battling drug addiction.

Lea was left heartbroken after his sudden passing, but three years on, has finally found herself back in 'happy place'.

'I got back to the place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world,' she told OK! Magazine as she reflected on her grief.

Since her former flame's passing, Lea dated model Matthew Paetz from April 2014 to February 2016 after meeting on the set of her On My Way music video.

Shortly after they called time on their romance, the actress began dating her Dimension 404 co-star Robert Buckley.

The couple split in July after a brief romance.
