'Oh heavenly day!' Emily Maynard Johnson celebrates after giving birth to third child

Emily Maynard Johnson gave birth on Saturday to her third child and second son.

The proud mother posted the news to Instagram along with a photo of herself in hospital, surrounded by her husband Tyler Johnson and her children.

Her second child by Johnson was born 21 inches long and weighed 8lbs 9, according toPeople.

In the Instagram photo, Maynard sits in bed in burgundy pyjamas, beaming.

Ricki, her 11-year-old daughter by the now deceased Ricky Hendrick, sits in front of her mother and cradles her new baby brother.

Jennings, the son Maynard Johnson and her husband had 14 months ago, sits next to the former reality star wearing an adorable T-shirt reading: 'BIG BROTHERS ROCK.'

The family's dashing patriarch stands at the back, grinning broadly and leaning into the frame.

In her caption, the 30-year-old wrote: '...oh heavenly day... God is good! {Ricki and I are officially outnumbered!}'

After a pair of short-lived engagements resulting from stints on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Maynard Johnson turned to religion, met her current husband in 2013 and married him the next year.

This March, in a People blog announcing she was expecting her most recent child, she acknowledged how quickly she and Johnson had churned out their progeny.

She quipped that 'before you even say anything, yes, I realize I just had Jennings like, two seconds ago. I guess I should’ve read that part in the baby handbook that says you’re super fertile after giving birth, huh?'

The mother of three conceded: 'When this baby gets here, Jennings will be about 15 months old and even though I’m sure he’ll have no clue what’s going on, I feel a little guilty just because he didn’t get to be a baby for very long!'

Five days before the delivery, Maynard Johnson posted a mirror selfie to Instagram in which she showed off her bulging bump in a baggy black T-shirt and capris.

A knowing look on her face, she wrote a caption comprised of a string of hashtags: '#9monthspregnant #ootd #fashionblogger #husbandsclothes #nothingfits'.

On Labor Day, she'd uploaded a photo of herself with her husband and then her two children, writing: 'Labor Day Dove Hunt at the farm and quite possibly our last picture as a family of 4! #stillnotready #imarriedaredneck @mtylerjohnson'.
