The funny footage, filmed by Vine user Samuel Grubbs at Wingate University in North Carolina, shows a group of students pulling down on the girls' ponytails while shouting, 'Yaga!' A third teen, Freddy Mccollum, then pulls at a girl's ponytail but instead pulls out the entire hair piece. The angry girl then turns around and slaps the cheeky student across the face, apparently knocking him out. On social media viewers were quick to find the funny side of the footage. Twitter user @notjefe wrote: 'She slapped that man back to the first century'.

ISIS is not connected to the explosive device that ripped through a Manhattan street Saturday night, New York Governor Cuomo announced Sunday morning - but it was still an act of terror. No-one has come forward to admit to planting the device, which exploded in a dumpster, Cuomo said, but citizens should make no mistake: 'a bomb exploding in New York is an act of terrorism.' However, while he admitted the bomb was his 'worst nightmare,' he added that New Yorkers must remain resolute. 'We're not going to let them win,' he said. 'They want to make you afraid. We're not going to let them instill fear.' The bomb detonated in New York's affluent Chelsea neighborhood at around 8.30pm on Saturday night, injuring 29 people just hours before a second device (top-left) was discovered in the area, and after after the pipe-bombing of a New Jersey fun run.

The building work, involving masses of unsightly scaffolding, has been made to 'disappear' by covering it with a life-size image of the castle walls so realistic that it is almost impossible to spot where the fake stops and the actual castle resumes. The covering, on the walls and battlements of the North Terrace, was created by taking photographs of the area before the work started and printing a carefully scaled composite image on to a huge, durable plastic sheet, which was then stretched in front of the scaffolding.

Araujo, who has worked in hospitals for about 15 years, was finalizing the mother's file on the computer when he heard the father scream. The parents had tried to close the carrier beforehand but it didn't work, Araujo said. They tried again after the fall, without success.

Go pick on someone your own size! A funny video clip shows a tiny dog scaring off three lion cubs who try to take its food. As the felines approach in the footage, the pooch barks and charges at them - and the big cats retreat. The video didn't make clear where the 'food fight' between the animals took place.

A fisherman and his young son spotted five hammerhead sharks lurking in the water while a boat towed a water skier nearby. Aron Martin and his four-year-old son Banx were circled by five hammerhead sharks - two larger than his 4.3 metre boat - while fishing at Mannering Park, in Lake Macquarie, north of Sydney, on Saturday morning. The 27-year-old, from San Reno, spent 40 minutes following the school of sharks, much to the delight of his son, and captured footage of the moment a single fin cut through the water and a dark figure approached the boat.

The shocking incident happened in Kursk in western Russia's Kursk Oblast region and the Burger King employee was arrested after police saw the clip. The unnamed worker apparently told police who questioned him that 'he wanted to teach the boy and his friends a lesson, but he did not know his own strength.' The man told detectives: 'I just wanted to teach him a lesson, that is all. They were constantly coming into the restaurant and misbehaving. They have been causing problems for us for a year. They ignored our requests to behave themselves, we tried to do something but it was always in vain.'
