Staying strong! Shannen Doherty runs errands in Malibu as she continues her brave battle with breast cancer

It probably felt like a good day today for Shannen Doherty.

Despite being weakened by her ongoing treatments for breast cancer, the former 90120 star felt well and strong enough to run some errands Saturday in Malibu.

And she was accompanied by her devoted husband Kurt Iswarienko who has been at her side through her lengthy illness.

Since she's lost her hair as a result of chemotherapy and radiation, Shannen, 45, covered her head with a bright pink patterned bandana.

She wore matching pink and gray Nike trainers and a pair of cropped gray leggings.

And she dressed for comfort donning a baggy white cotton t-shirt over a black top.

The couple picked up supplies from a market and dropped by an accessories boutique during their outing.

The Charmed actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015.

Tests showed it had spread to her lymph nodes and she underwent a single mastectomy in May.

In addition to traditional treatments, she has also been open to more 'outside the box' approaches.

On Wednesday she posted a photo of herself resting inside a hyperbaric chamber and wearing an oxygen mask.

'My reconstructive surgeon, Dr Jay Orringer, wanted to have the best outcome possible. That meant a hyperbaric chamber along with many other outside of the box methods,' she explained. 'The result.... He saved my skin.'
