Taking it for a spin! Priyanka Chopra floats and twirls her way down the Emmy Awards red ccarpet in crimson gown

As a Baywatch baddie she may not get to wear the iconic red swimsuit, but this star certainly knows how to rock the vibrant shade.

Priyanka Chopra was a vision as she took on the Emmy Awards red carpet in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday.

The 34-year-old actress wore the shade of the night but still stood out as she arrived at the Microsoft Theater.

The flowing chiffon gown clearly made the star feel like a princess as she could not stop spinning around and showing off its delicate layers.

The one-shoulder Jason Wu gown had an empire and natural waist and avoided flashing cleavage as is the usual for red carpets but was still sexy as it highlighted her delicate decolletage.

But, at the end of the day, the dress was all about the skirt's layers of silk chiffon.

Featuring a small train, the skit provided the real fun and drama - and also provided the actress with a great way to pose.

Rock the red carpet in a red hot dress

Priyanka Chopra slayed at the 2016 Emmy Award red carpet.

Red never gets old when it comes to red carpet style. It's sexy, it's sultry and it's elegant.

Priyanka donned a beautiful red one shoulder chiffon gown that she twirled down the red carpet. She finished it off with a low ponytail and a bold red lip.

Her stunning dress is by Jason Wu, but sadly it's not up for grabs.

Instead of just the got to hand-on hip pose, the Baywatch grabbed the top layer of her dress waving it up and down.

Not done there, an excited Priyanka spun around and around like a little girl in her first proper party dress.

Clearly the gown's flowing nature was what made the star chose it, as as she headed to the event she posted a video in Instagram of just the back of the skirt swishing around as it trailed behind her.

With the gown already making such an impact, the Indian actress kept the rest of her look complimentary and classic.

The Quantico star wore her hair slicked back into a ponytail with a side part and she wore a vibrant red shade on her lips.

Priyanka wore no jewellery sans for a understated diamond ring and drop diamond earrings.

The actress is presenting at the awards and was trying to keep fans guessing ahead of the event about who she was presenting with.

On Saturday, she posted an intentionally blurry picture of herself presenting saying: 'Rehearsals #Emmyswithpc keep guessing... Btw the blur is the point!'

But eagle eyed fans were quick to discover that her co-presenter was in fact Taylor Swift's ex, Tom Hiddleston.

The pair partnered up to present  the Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Dramatic Special.

Tom's The Night Manager director Susanne Bier, took home top honours.
