'Two of them were in bed with me': David Baddiel reveals he nearly had a THREESOME with Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C as he reminisces about his hedonistic past

They famously sang that if you wanted to be their lover you'd have to get with their friends.

And it seems the Spice Girls were being literal with their lyrics, as David Baddiel has claimed that he nearly enjoyed a threesome with Mel B and Mel C in the nineties after charming them into bed with his fame.

The comedian, 52, said that his fame had impressed the girls - who were then just starting out on their career - but was forced to abandon the plans after they proved to be too noisy.

He told The Mirror:  'Somehow, two of them ended up in bed with me, but I didn’t end up having sex with either of them because they made so much noise and the hotel security threatened to throw me out.

He added: 'I’m not talking about orgasmic noise, I’m talking about girl power, having a laugh, Wannabe kinda noises. And when I asked them to stop, they just did it more.'

Reflecting on his hedonistic past, the now happily loved-up father-of-two revealed he regretted not going through with the act, merely so he'd have an interesting story to tell.

David explained the behaviour was typical of him as he started out on his career, but revealed whilst he may have been a ladies man, he was hardly a lothario.

'I did have some quite debauched nights. But I didn’t go mental, as I didn’t know how to do the thing you need to do when you’re promiscuous,' he explained.
