'I'd have been devastated if Sam wasn't with me at the birth': Billie Faiers opens up about relationship with her sister... as she reveals baby Nelly has brought them closer together

She's always enjoyed a close relationship with her sister, Sam Faiers, but ever since the July arrival of her baby daughter Nelly she's grown to appreciate her sibling even more.

Billie Faiers, 24, has opened up to OK! magazine about how she's been settling into motherhood over the past month, and how it's affected her relationship with her 23-year-old sister.

'I'd have been devastated if Sam wasn't with me at the birth,’ Billie told the magazine, adding of her time in labour: ‘She started massaging my back – she knew exactly what to do.'

Billie also said of her sister: 'We're best friends. We share the same friends and have a really strong bond.'

The TOWIE stars have since enjoyed lots of girlie time with their niece, and Sam has told the publication that the little bundle of joy is very much a part of the gang.

'As soon as she was born, we bonded straight away,' said Sam. 'Because it's your family and it's your own blood, the pull was so strong. I couldn't put her down.'

In fact, Sam's bond with little Nelly is such that she's now even more enthusiastic about starting a family with her beau Joey Essex, with whom she recently reunited.

'I can't wait to have children with him,' she said. 'I want a big family, maybe three or four children, but our next step it to live with each other.'

She added: 'We both love children. He loves babies. I don't want there to be too much of a gap because I want Nelly to have a best friend.'

On Tuesday, Billie, who welcomed her baby with fiancé Greg Shepherd, shared a picture of herself with her offspring, next to the caption: '#selfie with my little Nelly Noo (sic)'

Looking glammed up in a black patterned blouse with her blonde hair swept to one side, Billy flashed her pearly white smile as her adorable daughter looked up at the camera with great curiosity. 

Last week, she referenced Nelly’s first month in the world on Twitter, writing: ‘Aww, my little Nelly is one month old today. It's gone so quick. The best month of my life.'
