Be an embroidered beauty in a coat like Jennifer
Jennifer Lopez makes a point of staying stylish, while staying warm.
Spotted out in New York City, the singer/actor tapped this season's hottest trend in outerwear - the padded coat - but opted for an elegantly embroidered example from Valentino. This custom piece takes its cue from the label's Resort 2016 collection, where swallow and oriental motifs took centre stage. Unfortunately it is not available to buy online, but shop the current collection buy clicking to your right.
Wrapping up, Jennifer wore her coat over a blue knit, ripped jeans, and chunky boots. A slither of leopard-print spotted on the side of her bag finished the look with a luxurious tone. Makeup was kept minimal, while hair was worn in a messy top bun, showcasing her stunning features - try an up-do when you opt for a thick roll-neck, as it always leaves a chic result.
Add to your collection of winter warmers with an embellished style like Jennifer. If a bomber jacket is more your thing, try Boohoo (below); if you prefer longline and sleek iterations, look to Alice + Oliver; or if you have a penchant for parkas, this REDValentino option is a fine investment.
JLo was joined by quite the crowd including her manager Benny Medina, her mother Guadalupe Lopez, father David Lopez and her children, twins Max and Emme.
The star kept warm against the autumnal chill in the padded number, featuring a pretty oriental inspired pattern.
She stuck to her casual theme with a pair of bright orange trainers and cosy looking jumper and shirt.

The pop superstar wore her brunette locks pulled back in a bun and opted for minimal make-up.
Earlier this week, Jennifer also kept her famous figure under wraps while filming Shades Of Blue in New York.
The singer and actress went undercover in a beige trench coat which was cinched in at her petite waist while the cameras rolled.

Jennifer later whipped off the outerwear to reveal a knitted red top with lace-up neckline underneath.
The actress and singer was also wearing flared jeans, and added some glamour to her otherwise low-key look with sky high black stiletto boots.
JLo pulled her caramel curls into a fuss-free updo and finished off her look with natural make-up and gold hoop earrings.

Shades Of Blue premiered in January and was renewed for a second season the following month.
The NBC show also stars renowned actor Ray Liotta and Sons of Anarchy actress Drea de Matteo.
While she has had huge success in the music industry, Jennifer's big break was portraying Selena in the biopic of the same name in 1997.
And acting has always remained her primary passion, she confessed to Deadline in June. Â
A flare for fashion: The 47-year-old also sported flared jeans over her heeled black boots
'I always saw myself as an actress who danced and sang and had those talents as well, and I made my records later in my career,' she explained.
'I didn't make my first record until I was almost 30. So the acting was always the first thing.'
Jennifer is also keeping busy with other projects and following the end of American Idol, she will serve as a judge and executive producer on World Of Dance, another TV competition series.
Hit show: The police drama, which also stars Ray Liotta, premiered earlier this year and is now filming for its second season
