It was a hot day to be walking around in Malibu for this fashion-loving celebrity.

Caitlyn Jenner dropped all pretensions as she made a casual grocery run in her upscale California seaside town on Saturday.

The 66-year-old reality star was wearing dark denim shirts that were cut just above the knees along with a loose-fitting white top.

With temperatures hovering around the 80 degree Fahrenheit mark, Caitlyn's summer wear must have felt like a welcome reprieve from the designer fashions she's come to know and love.

Caitlyn emerged from the supermarket pushing a trolley loaded up with three brown paper bags.

Jenner ditched the cart and carried the trio of double-bagged purchases the rest of the way to her SUV.

A pair of tinted shades protected her eyes from the sun's glare while her long brown hair was wavy and loose.

Caitlyn, who split from Kris Jenner and became a transgender and LGBT activist, has lots of time free time to spare now.

E! cancelled her reality series I Am Cait last summer after just two seasons.

Caitlyn, who is the parent of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, may turn up in the new season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in spite of her divorce from momager Kris.

She's also made a cameo in the third season premiere of Amazon's Transparent starring Jeffrey Tambor.

The television personality and former Olympic gold medal winning decathlete told ET that her guest role was 'so simple really. My lines were already written.'

She added: 'Doing reality TV, we have no script - and it was great to work with such talented actors.'
