'She's sad right now!' An emotional Calvin Harris backs Matt Terry as young singer performs ballad after being dumped by his ex-girlfriend on The X Factor
A moving performance dedicated to a failed relationship prompted an emotional response from Calvin Harris on Sunday evening’s edition of The X Factor.
The Scottish DJ was on hand to cast a critical eye over the boys’ category after joining their mentor, former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, at her sprawling home in the South of France for the judge’s houses stage of the competition.
But after offering opinions on the first five hopeful singers, Calvin – whose year-long relationship with Taylor Swift came to an abrupt end earlier this year – reserved his most animated reactions for contestant Matt Terry.
