Alex De Minaur (born 17 February 1999) is an Australian tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of 645, achieved on 1 August 2016.

De Minaur is of Spanish and Uruguayan descent, and currently lives in Alicante, Spain.

Tennis career[edit]

De Minaur reached a career-high ranking of 2 on the juniors circuit, and won the 2016 Australian Open boys' doubles championships alongside Blake Ellis.

At the 2016 Junior Boys’ singles tournament at the US Open, he was defeated by Israeli Yishai Oliel in the second round 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (2), after being seeded # 2.[2]
