At the top, the neckline fell far enough to provide a generous glimpse of her cleavage.

The bottom halves of her sleeves flowed outward, robe-like, whenever she raised her arms.

Her blonde hair coiffed into a neat bob, she crossed her shapely legs as she mugged for the camera.

The trouser end of her jumpsuit was hemmed above the ankle, allowing a full view of a pair of black stilettos with sequined multicoloured straps.

Whenever she stood, the three bands of gold colouring that encircled her tiny waist became visible.

During the game, nine numbered boxes sit on three shelves. At the beginning of a round, one player takes one box from its place.

The person who's picked the box opens it and tells - but does not show - the other person its contents. That other person must then deduce whether or not his opponent has told the truth.

The process repeats over and over again, with correct guesses earning the guesser a point and incorrect guesses earning the other player a point.

Adapted from Paula Hawkins' blockbusting thriller novel, The Girl On The Train stars Mrs John Krasinski in a cast that includes Rebecca Ferguson, Haley Bennett, Justin Theroux, Luke Evans and Allison Janney.

In an interview The Huffington Post published Monday, Blunt elaborated on her alcoholic leading character, who becomes enmeshed in the investigation of a possible murder.

'It was such an alien skin to wear for a while. I’ve never played somebody as tortured as this,' she admitted.

'What a challenge,' she noted, 'to play somebody in the grips of an addiction but also somebody who’s afraid of themselves, and you’ve got the heightened environment with a potential murder.

She added: 'That combination is like a real character piece with the combination of a thriller, so it’s really unusual. It is a rarity in Hollywood to have a mainstream film with such a flawed character, especially the female character.'
