A trip down memory lane! Counting On's Jill and Jessa Duggar reflect on their proposals before Jinger's boyfriend pops the question

Even the Duggars stop and smell the roses sometimes.

That's the case on Tuesday's edition of their reality show Counting On, as two of the young Duggar wives - Jill, 25, and Jessa, 23 - look back on when they received proposals from their now-husbands, Derick Dillard, 27, and Ben Seewald, 21, respectively.

The nostalgic moments came as their younger sister Jinger, 22, was about to join the bridal ranks of the Tontitown, Arkansas family, as her boyfriend Jeremy Vuolo, 29, prepared to pop the question to her.

Dillard drew parallels in his courting of Jill to Vuolo's pursuit of Jinger, as both began as long-distance relationships.

'For us, we wanted to have time together before we got engaged,' said Dillard, who has an infant son named Israel, aged 17 months, with Jim Bob and Michelle's second-oldest daughter.

Dillard said that the now-spouses took their time in making sure they were right for one another.

'We waited a month of consistent time together physically getting to know each other before I asked her to marry me,' said Dillard, who proposed to the devout beauty in April of 2014, tying the knot June 21, 2014 at the Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas.

Jessa noted the whirlwind nature of her older sister's race to the altar, wondering if Jinger would wind up exchanging vows with Vuolo on an equally-accelerated timeline.

'Jill and Derick's relationship, I think it was like three months courting and three months engaged, and then they were married,' said Jessa.

The now-mother-of-one accepted her husband Seewald's proposal in August 2014, before they made it official at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas on November 1 of that year.

'Who knows: It might be even faster than that for Jinger and Jeremy!' said Jessa, who's expecting her second child with Seewald, as they already have an infant son named Spurgeon, aged 10 months.

All of the pre-wedding fever comes to a head when Counting On airs Tuesday on TLC at 8/7c.
