'I'm dating Brad Pitt!': Jennifer Garner jokes about Angelina Jolie's ex... as she has yet to finalize her divorce from Ben Affleck 16 MONTHS after split

Jennifer Garner had a few laughs on Sunday.

The 44-year-old Miracles From Heaven actress joked with a camera man in Los Angeles that she has moved on from estranged husband Ben Affleck to another A-list actor.

'You know, Brad Pitt and I are dating, isn't that great?' the mother-of-three said then burst into laughter in footage obtained by DailyMail.com.

The movie star was leaving a working with a female friend and had a coffee in her hand when she made the claim.

The two were walking briskly to a parked black Range Rover.

This is not the first time Garner has brought up Pitt, who is friends with her ex Affleck. (Jen and Ben split in June 2015 and have yet to finalize their divorce.)

In her Vanity Fair interview in March, the Dallas Buyers Club star referenced the superstar.

'When Jen Aniston and Brad Pitt broke up I was dying to see something that said they were getting back together,' the Alias vet remarked.

Jennifer and Brad have never worked together. 

Angelina filed for divorce from Brad on September 19 after a reported fight aboard a private jet where he allegedly tried to harm their 15-year-old son Maddox.

She has since moved to a Malibu rental while he stays at their Hollywood Hills compound.

Since then the actors have agreed to a temporary custody set up where she has physical custody and he has a first visit with a therapist.

The entire family is set to undergo counseling.

It's unusual for the normally tight-lipped Garner to joke about another celebrity, especially when that star is having a personal crisis.

And Garner has plenty to think about on her own end.

The beauty is still privately working out her divorce from Affleck.

But the two seem to be confusing their fans as they continue to dine together without the children (Violet, 10; Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four), making it seem as if they are back together.

They also both still live at their Pacific Palisades home. 

On Sunday Garner wore her $155 Isabel Marant pullover sweatshirt that she was spotted in on Saturday that donned the name, Highlands.

She paired it with tight leggings, highlighting her gym-honed legs and bright baby blue sneakers.

The pretty brunette showed off her natural beauty with no make-up and pulled her locks back in a low, casual bun.

This comes after a recent trip to The Big Apple, which she returned from last week on Thursday.

As of late, Jennifer has been experiencing 'shifts' in her busy schedule, transitioning to the start of another school year for her children. 

She told People: 'It’s crazy town. I always feel like September is bananas, doing initial meetings, meetings for room mom, field trips. It’s crazy, but good.'

The Nine Lives actress added: 'I said to my kids yesterday, "This has been a long week." Kids fight, they push and pull. The beginning of school is stressful for them and they take it out on Mom. I have to say, "You guys, this is a lot for me. I need a break!" We all have to chill out.'

However, the busy actress has managed to make time for her kids and for herself: 'I try to make bedtime sacred, to have some alone time with each kid every night, when it is possible. Except for the nights when it’s not possible. I work, and I have a job that means that sometimes I have to go out at night, and sometimes I need to go out at night just for me.'
