And while filming scenes for the ABC show on Monday, Sofia Vergara gave a sly smile as she carefully carried a dead goat in her hands.

The goat, most likely stuffed, was wrapped carefully in a red-and-white picnic blanket.

Despite her character's situation, the 44-year-old beauty was clad in a fitted purple dress.

Sofia also wore sky-high, slingback wedges, which did not seem to interfere with her trip to the waste basket. 

The star's brunette locks were styled in her signature brown waves. Her make-up look was complete with her go-to bold lip. `
