And Hollywood star Danny DeVito proved that he's certainly not shy of showing off his 'troll foot' on national TV when he appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Tuesday.

Whipping off his sock and revealing his bare foot to the world, the 71-year-old star even managed to get Lorraine involved, with the pair comparing feet live on the show, and even stopping to take a photo.

When Lorraine questioned Danny on his 'troll foot' phenomenon - with the actor regularly posting snaps of his right foot on his Twitter account - he explained that it evolved from his issues with social media.

Regularly putting his foot in it every time he tried to post a snap or comment, he decided to embrace his Luddite nature and quite literally put his foot in every shot.

Taking his shoe and sock off Danny DeVito joked: 'Now I don't do anything to it [the foot], so don't be shocked. It may have a few little nicks in it and I did take a shower.'

Despite his self-depreciation, Lorraine touched his bare foot, Lorraine says: 'They're the cutest little feet I've ever seen!'

Inspired by Danny's bravado , Lorraine decided to join in on the fun, shedding her scarlet Vivienne Westwood shoe, and showing her petite foot with the world.

The pair put their feet together for comparison foot selfie, with Lorraine apologising for the fact she still had her nude tights on.
