EXCLUSIVE: 'She's not doing so good': Kim Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban gives update on star after armed $11m Paris diamond heist left her fearing for her life

Kim Kardashian was rattled after she was bound, gagged and had a gun put to her head in Paris on Sunday as crooks made off with $11m worth of her jewelry, including a large diamond ring.

On Tuesday the 35-year-old reality star's best friend Jonathan Cheban - who is a regular on her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians - gave an update on her condition as she holed up in a New York City apartment.

'She's not doing so good,' the TV star said as he was entering the E! star's building.

The TV fixture was heading to her NYC residence with a large gift basket. The reality wonder wore a grey hoodie and jeans and a black hat with sunglasses. He also had on Yeezy sneakers. The Celebrity Big Brother star kept his head down.

Entertainment Tonight reported on Tuesday she was 'traumatized' by the robbery that happened when husband Kanye West was performing in NYC.

The only person in her suite was stylist and high school pal Simone Harouche. Both of Kim's children (North, aged three, and Saint, nearly one) were in New York.

Kardashian is 'still in shock,' added ET.

'When the incident happened, [Kim] was half asleep and was woken up so abruptly. She was on little sleep to begin with since getting to Paris. She still hasn’t fully been able to comprehend what happened,' said a source.

It was added: 'The concierge brought the men up into Kim's bedroom,'

She was in a robe.

There's the loot: The basket Cheban brought Kardashian was large and white

'She heard really loud footsteps in the apartment coming up to the second floor, where she was sleeping. She picked up her cell but wasn't able to call [bodyguard] Pascal [Duvier] in time before one of the guys grabbed it out of her hand and she realized what was happening. It was absolutely horrific.'

Kim 'didn’t get a look at any of the guys' faces,' it was claimed. They were in black ski masks and gloves.

'None of them spoke English, so she couldn't communicate with them. All she kept saying over and over is "I have kids. Take anything you want. Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me."'

The source added she's 'very emotional.' She fears it could have been 'much worse.'

Also on Tuesday Karl Lagerfeld complained that Kim was too flashy and that is why she was robbed. The designer is friends with Kim and Kanye, so the remark was unexpected.

TMZ added that Kim believes the ring will likely be traced.

'She believes if anyone tries to sell the ring they'll find it. The police report she filed includes the diamond's inscription number and other markers that will raise red flags if it ends up on the market,' said a source.
