Turn the channel over! Katie McGlynn and Charlotte Bellamy join Chelsee Healey and Amanda Henderson on the worst-dressed list at the Inside Soap Awards

The stars turned out in force to celebrate the acting talent of the soap world on Monday night at the Inside Soap Awards.

But while the red carpet was awash with a host of stunning looks, some celebrities failed to miss the mark with their sartorial displays.

Leading the worst-dressed lists were Coronation Street Katie McGlynn, who plays Sinead Tinkler, Emmerdale's Charlotte Bellamy, known as Laurel Dingle, Casualty's Amanda Henderson who plays Robyn Miller and former Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey.

Katie McGlynn looked naturally beautiful as she posed on the red carpet but her bright animal print mini dress was a little brash for the prestigious night.

She teamed it with a pair of thigh-high boots and posed with one hand on her hip, wearing her blonde locks in a half-up style which flattered her pretty features.

Charlotte Bellamy hit the high-street for her outfit, choosing H&M for her autumnal number, which swamped her frame a little.

Not the one: Former Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey failed to dazzle in her retro cream suit and platforms
Different style: She was uncharacteristically covered up in her get-up and covered her plunging neckline with a scarf
Not the best choice: She completed her look with some clompy platforms

Too bright: Hollyoaks' Persephone Swales-Dawson (left) plumped for a graphic-print colourful dress and platform sandals, while her co-star Kassius Nelson wore an odd cropped suit and oversized gold sandals (right)

Amanda Henderson wore an oversized T-shirt style dress with a lace panel and thigh-high boots which lacked the wow factor.

While Chelsee Healey was uncharacteristically covered up in a cream suit which had a retro feel and flared trousers.

She covered her plunging neckline with a granny-chic scarf and wore a pair of clompy platform heels.

Smarten up: But it wasn't just the ladies who failed to impress sartorially. EastEnders icon Steve McFadden left his smart attire back in Walford and wore a bomber jacket instead of a suit

Strictly's new professional dancer Neil Jones wore a grey floral shirt and matching trousers from high-street store Zara, which was a little busy on the eye.

He toned the look down a little with a plain grey jacket which he wore over the top.
