She's been lighting up the stage in Las Vegas with a residency for two years.

But Olivia Newton-John has taken a break from her stage show to promote another musical project in New York. 

The 68-year-old actress cut a casual figure in a tan fringed scarf and leopard-print sneakers as she visited the SiriusXM Studio to promote her album LIV ON on Monday.

The mother-of-one showed off her slender pins in a pair of black tights, which she teamed with a matching top and cardigan. 

Olivia flashed her beaming smile as she posed against the media wall.

Her short blonde locks were worn loosely and in glamourous waves for the appearance.

The Grammy award winner accessorised with a silver charm bracelet and a fine necklace with a Hamsa hand pendant.

Later in the day, the Grease star appeared at a presentation for her upcoming album alongside co-artists Beth Nielsen Chapman and Amy Sky.

The trio posed for photos before taking to the stage to discuss their collaboration in a forum hosted by The Build Series.

The 11-song collection is aimed to help cancer patients as well as those who are experiencing grief to heal.

The project is part of a new movement for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.

'As a group, it's our intention with this album to create songs with a message of compassion and hope,' the English-born star told People.

'They are for anyone facing a time of challenge in their life, whether it is grieving a loss or on the journey to health and recovery,' added the breast cancer survivor.

Olivia's outing comes just after reports that there are troubles brewing within the star's marriage to John Easterling.
