The guards in the film are believed to be speaking Pashtun, a language used in Afghanistan.

Online reports suggest the man who escaped was a prisoner of ISIS.

Afghanistan has seen fighting between government forces and Islamist militants - mainly Taliban insurgents but also ISIS fighters - reach record levels this year following the 2014 withdrawal of US-led foreign combat troops.
