Ace up her sleeve! Taylor Swift to perform at AT&T DIRECTV pre-Super Bowl show in Houston after signing lucrative new deal

Lady Gaga might be headlining the Super Bowl 2017 halftime show but this star isn't doing too bad.

Taylor Swift is set to perform at an AT&T DIRECTV pre-Super Bowl show the night before the biggest football game of the year in Houston, Texas in February.

It's part of the sweet multi-year deal the 26-year-old singer signed with the American telecommunications conglomerate.

Taylor is even getting her own venue custom-built for her spanning 64,000 square feet.

AT&T is arranging a few promotions and campaigns to spur fans into obtaining tickets.

'We’re thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways,' John Stankey, AT&T CEO, revealed in a statement on the company's website.

'We’re excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor’s fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world’s biggest artists with one of the world’s biggest sporting events.'

While the country singing sensation apparently hasn't decided what she's going to sing yet, it's likely to include some of her greatest hits including Shake It Off and Bad Blood.

Her friend Gigi Hadid let it slip that Taylor was back in the studio recording new music.

Taylor's split from English actor Tom Hiddleston last month has left her with a lot of free time, one can assume.

The news comes on the heels of Lady Gaga's announcement that she will headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 5.

'It's not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL,' Gaga tweeted late last month.

Gaga admitted to getting emotional as soon as she got the word.

'Maybe it’s too sentimental, but I just burst into tears. I just cried so hard. I just kept saying, "I can’t believe it, I can’t believe it,"' Gaga said during a Fox Sports interview.

She added: 'I’ve been planning this since I was four so I know exactly what I’m going to do.'

Coincidentally, Taylor's nemesis Katy Perry was the superstar performer during Super Bowl halftime in 2015 with props including riding in upon giant prism lion, dancing sharks and other wild animals.

And last year, Beyonce joined Bruno Mars and Coldplay for a live performance for the football fans.
