Bangs are quickly becoming one of fall's biggest beauty trends. Gigi Hadid, Taraji P. Henson and Jessica Biel - to name but a few - are all on board.

Some stars are approaching the style as an accessory. Over the weekend, Gigi, 21, took her look from day to night in Paris with bright blonde clip-in fringe. At the Emmy Awards last month, Taraji, 46, made a head-to-toe quick change in the middle of the show that involved a sleek wig with blunt bangs.

Others have fully committed to the look. Jessica, 34, got into character for her new show The Sinners by visiting her hairstylist for piece-y, low-maintenance bangs.

GIGI HADID

Gigi took a break from the runways to attend a model-studded cocktail party during Paris Fashion Week on Friday night.

For the occasion, hairstylist Jen Atkin pulled the 21-year-old's hair into a top knot and gave her some faux fringe in a bright blonde color. 

The bangs lightened up Gigi's dirty blonde color and, said Jen, gave her a mod, 'Twiggy vibe'.

A crusader of the bangs trend, Jen Atkin also updated Lily's look with fringe yesterday, ahead of Valentino's spring 2017 show in Paris, where the actress, 27, sat front row. 

To keep blunt bangs like Lily's in place all day, Matrix celebrity hairstylist George Papanikolas recommends applying a dry shampoo like Matrix Style Link Mineral Play Back Dry Shampoo at the root. 'This will give them soft, gentle movement without letting them get too greasy,' he said.

The blonde actress' hair was the talk of the internet when she was spotted in New York with a short brown crop and wispy bangs last month. Turns out, Amanda, 30, was wearing a wig for her role in the forthcoming film, Anon. 

The faux look must have inspired her, however, because last week she stepped out with real, angled bangs pushed like curtains on either side of her face.

'We wanted to do something fun but weren’t quite ready to commit her to bangs again,' said hairstylist Laura Polko, who primped Lea, 30, for the iHeartRadio Music Festival last week.

The solution? Clip-ins of course, which she cut to make the sides longer in order to ensure a natural look. 

To keep it in place, Laura finished the look with L’Oreal Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hairspray.

To help get Jessica into character for her new role in the TV series, The Sinners, hairstylist Adir Abergel created a simple look with piece-y bangs.

Inspired by French fashion and beauty icon Jane Birkin, the bangs, Adir told People, 'aren’t too heavy, but they’re heavy enough that they’re not wispy. They are just right above the eyebrow, so you can still see it. 

'This was definitely about bringing [out] her earthy, feminine side.'

After walking the Emmys red carpet in a sleek, yellow dress and her hair side-parted and curly, the Empire actress emerged on stage to present an award in an entirely different look.

The head-to-toe costume change included a sequin gown and a straight bob with blunt bangs that was no doubt a wig.

Both looks were a win in our book.
