Is baby number three on the way for William and Kate? Bookies slash the odds on a pregnancy announcement in the new year after the royals' Canada tour

George and Charlotte stole the show in Canada last week on their first royal tour together, but the siblings could be getting some competition very soon.

Bookies have slashes the odds on the announcement that another royal baby is on the way following the royal tour.

Since their return from Canada, bets have been piling in on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announcing some happy news next year.

George and Charlotte stole the show on the royal tour of Canada last week and now royal watchers are convinced Kate and William will be adding to their brood in the new year

As a result, Ladbrokes have slashed the odds to just 4/6.

Odds of a pregnancy announcement before the end of 2016 stand at 4/1, while the odds of a 2018 pregnancy are 3/1.

The Canada tour gave the opportunity to see the Cambridges as a happy family unit of four for the first time.

And noting how much Kate and William, both 34, are enjoying being parents has convinced royal watchers that they will surely be adding to their brood.

Be the cream of the crop in Kate's See by Chloe dress

The Royal tour of Canada rolls on and when it comes to the Duchess of Cambridge's fashion choices, we'd say it's been a success so far.

And while Kate has stuck to some old favorites like Jenny Packham, Alexander McQueen and her Penelope Chilvers boots, she has also added new labels like Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, CH Carolina Herrera and Sentaler to her wardrobe. That's a lot of packing!

Today the Duchess and her adorable family attended a children’s party at British Columbia's Government House and once again she nailed it in this ever so gorgeous cream dress by See by Chloé.

We think this may be another new label for Kate and it's a stylish choice. We love the frilled neckline, cuffs and pointelle knit bodice to which she has added a belt, which works to accentuate her already tiny waist.

The great news is that it's available to buy now at Net-a-Porter so click (right) to snap it up before the Kate effect takes hold. Or get the look with our edit of similar ivory frocks below.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: 'The sight of Kate and Wills with George and Charlotte has sent royal baby watchers into overdrive.

'A 2016 announcement seems unlikely but if the money's to be believed 2017 looks like a certainty.'

She added: 'Fans of the Duke and Duchess are hoping the couple make an addition to their gorgeous brood sooner rather than later.'

The Duchess, of course, is from a family of three along with brother James and sister Pippa.

And according to royal sources, William believes that three children is the ideal number for a complete family.

The couple have come under fire this year for putting their children ahead of royal duties.

Kate was criticised for skipping the annual presentation of shamrocks to the Irish Guards on St Patrick's Day to spend time with her children ahead of the royal tour of India and Bhutan in April.

And William has also been censured for taking on a part time role with the Air Ambulance to allow him to spend time with his family - as well as undertake royal duties.

However, the decision to put family first has the Queen's full approval and has clearly paid off as the sight of a happy George and Charlotte in Canada last week proved.
