Angelina's new gated hideaway in Hidden Hills is a spacious mansion owned by Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Denise Richards.
The 8,300-square-foot residence with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms was first purchased by former Bond girl Denise in 2007 following her divorce and she filmed her reality TV series It's Complicated there.
The former Playboy cover girl, 45, has since remodeled the home extensively, making it more Hollywood than country.
Celebrity-owned: Angelina Jolie's rental in guard-gated Hidden Hills is owned by Denise Richards who's spent several years redecorating and remodeling the 8,300-square-foot home
Hollywood glitz: The large lounge is more like a night club with a black and silver bar and matching bar stools, a red velvet banquette, red drapes and marble fireplace
Singletons: Richards bought the property in 2007 following her divorce from Charlie Sheen and filmed her E! reality show there before moving out in 2008; Jolie relocated to the guard-gated enclave with her six children after two weeks in a Malibu rental. She filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19
The house, plus an 8700-square-foot cabana, sits on 1.4 acres and boasts two swimming pools and a grotto, like the famous one at Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion.
It has a large night club-style lounge complete with a big black and silver wet bar with stools, red floor-to-ceiling curtains and red velvet banquettes.
A wine-tasting room boasts two floor-to-ceiling temperature-controlled cabinets, velvet lounge chairs and a shaggy rug.

It has a wrought iron chandelier and a wall pizza oven and polished hardwood floors.
Relaxing space: Richards added 2,500 square feet to the house much of which went into creating a vast master suite that includes a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet
Room for clothes and more: The walk-in closet is more like a room with its own fireplace, banquettes and vanity area with a corset chair
Room to scrub: The shiny bathroom literally drips with light from an elaborate chandelier and has an enormous tiled shower, marble floor and a mirror-tiled clawfoot tub

Party time: There's also a grotto and hot tub, like the one at the famous Playboy Mansion
Water park: The 1.4 acre estate has room for two free-form swimming pools as well as manicured lawns and lush landscaping
Richards vacated the home in 2008 and then spent several years remodeling and redecorating the property before listing it in June 2015 at $7.75 million.
In January, she dropped the price to $7.3 million and has since reduced the sale price again to $6.895 million after it failed to find a buyer.
Jolie moved to the estate from an oceanfront rental in Malibu where she'd been living with her children since filing for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19.
They're with her: Jolie has temporary custody of her six children with Brad - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The family, minus Maddox, are pictured at Tokyo's airport in November 2011
Wants to offload home: Richards, pictured with ex-husband Sheen in 2002, has been trying to sell the estate since June 2015 and has lowered the listing price twice in the hopes of finding a buyer
