So slick! Platinum blonde Kristen Stewart suits up in stylish dark red jacket but skips a shirt as she attends New York Film Festival premiere

Kristen Stewart looked stylish as she suited up for the premiere of her latest film.

The actress wore a dark red jacket unbuttoned and skipped a shirt as she arrived at the screening of Certain Women at The New York Film Festival on Monday.

The 26-year-old's blood red suit featured a double-breasted jacket, which she left undone to show off her bare chest and a long gold necklace.

The usually-serious star appeared to be in a goofy mood as she flashed a smile and struck silly poses for photographers on the red carpet.

The Twilight star slicked back her platinum blonde hair and added bold matching red lipstick.

Kristen added black lace-up heels to her menswear-inspired look. 

The actress was joined by her costars Michelle Williams and Laura Dern for the premiere of the Kelly Reichardt- directed film, which follows the intersecting lives of three women in small town America.

She was on the red carpet for the New York Film Festival premiere and Kirsten Stewart once again broke all the rules.

The star tends to veer towards androgynous fashion, usually shunning the typical red carpet gown in favour of suits and jumpsuits. Although she wore heels here, you'll often spy the actress working her Converse, or at least changing into them as soon as she's done her bit for the cameras.

We loved her look though and how she doesn't always stick to the norm. A suit can be a super sharp look as Kristen proved here and she gave it a sexy edge by keeping it unbuttoned forgoing a bra and teaming with a pretty gold chain. She totally nailed it.

Silly mood: The usually serious 26-year-old appeared to be in a good mood as she struck a pose on the red carpet

Kristen, who is dating her former assistant Alicia Cargile, also recently starred in the Woody Allen 1930s period film Cafe Society.

She also has been promoting her new thriller Personal Shopper, a ghost story which debuted to boos at Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.

The film reunites her with French director Olivier Assayas, after she became the first American actress to win the prestigious Cesar - or French Oscar - as Best Supporting Actress for her performance in his cryptic film Clouds of Sils Maria.

Kristen's musician pal St. Vincent, who recently split from supermodel Cara Delevingnem was also seen heading to the premiere with the actress.

Also attending the New York Film Festival screening was Michelle Williams, who stars with K.Stew in Certain Women.

Michelle wore a chic black dress with a gathered waist secured with a gold clasp, and matching accent at one shoulder.

The former Dawson's Creek star, 36, also sported a platinum blonde hairstyle, but wore her hair brushed to the front in soft bangs.

Their costar Laura Dern also attended the screening for the 54th New York Film Festival.

The 49-year-old wore a purple paisley frock with a floor-length, sheer skirt.

The Enlightened star added drop earrings and left her blonde hair down in waves.

Earlier, St. Vincent was seen leaving her hotel with Kristen as they headed to the screening.

The 34-year-old wore a red and black houndstooth-patterned jacket over a black mini dress.

She added black heels and matching black handbag.
