Jennifer Lopez embraced some stylish fall fashion while out in New York City.

The singer and actress bundled up for autumn in a fuzzy striped cardigan as she left a studio on Monday.

The Shades of Blue star added high-waisted pants, which she cinched in with a black ribbon belt.

The 47-year-old entertainer appeared to be in good spirits after her stint in the studio, smiling and waving to fans as she headed to her vehicle.

J.Lo tucked a tight blank tank into her tweed-patterned trousers.

She left her cozy long cardigan loose, and added classic aviator sunglasses.

The former American Idol judge left her ombre hair down in waves over her shoulders.

The Ain't Yo Mama singer added stylish suede booties with a side zip, and accessorized with gold rings.

Jennifer has been back in her home town of New York to film her NBC cop drama's second season.

And while Idol is over, Jennifer is getting back in the reality TV game for NBC's new   "World of Dance" competition series, which she also produces.

The network announced last week that she will be a judge on the show too.

The 10-episode series will challenge contestants to demonstrate their skills in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, krumping, ballet and ballroom as they compete for a $1 million prize. 

The busy star also has a few other projects in the works. 

She is producing a new legal drama for CBS, and is also set to star as drug lord Griselda Blanco - known as 'The Cocaine Godmother' - in a new HBO movie written by Boardwalk Empire show runner Terence Winter.
