Coffee's on Lorelei and Rory! Shocking salary chart shows the Gilmore Girls stars will make $750,000 per episode for Netflix reboot - second only to the cast of The Big Bang Theory

  • Netflix is paying Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel $750,000 per episode of the Gilmore Girls reboot
  • The actresses who play Lorelei and Rory Gilmore on the beloved series are second only to The Big Bang Theory stars in terms of pay per episode
  • Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki continue to make $1million per episode of the CBS hit
  • Survey also shows that late night hosts Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are neck-and-neck with their estimated $13million-$15million salaries
  • The Americans star Keri Russell is making $175,000 an episode, while her co-star/real-life partner Matthew Rhys isn't even ranked on the list

The stars of the Big Bang Theory are still TV's highest-paid actors, but a reboot of Gilmore Girls is giving the long-running CBS hit a run for its money.

According to a new Variety survey of television actors' salaries, Netflix is paying actresses Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel $750,000 an episode for a Gilmore Girls miniseries scheduled to be released in November.

The show follows the lives of Lorelei and Rory Gilmore, a mother and daughter who are best friends. The original show ran from 2000 to 2007, when it was cancelled by The CW -  in part due to failed contract negotiations with the stars.

While Graham and Bledel's salaries may cause jaws to drop, they're still making considerably less than the $1million an episode the three main stars of The Big Bang Theory make.

Other huge earners include Mark Harmon ($525,000 per episode of NCIS), the main stars of Game of Thrones ($500,000 an episode), Claire Danes in Homeland ($450,000), Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay ($450,000), Ellen Pompeo in Grey's Anatomy ($400,000) and Dwyane 'The Rock' Johnson for Ballers ($400,000).

The lists, comparing pay per episode for actors in drama and comedy shows, also revealed some other interesting pay discrepancies.

For example, Keri Russell is estimated to make $175,000 per episode of The Americans. But her co-star (and real-life partner) Matthew Rhys, is not even ranked on the list. Rhys and Russell were each nominated for an acting Emmy this year, for their roles as Soviet spies pretending to be a normal American family.

Jimmy Kimmel (left) and Jimmy Fallon (right) appear to be neck-and-neck in terms of pay, with their estiamted $13-$15million salaries

Variety also ranks the pay of television show hosts, with Judge Judy topping the list with her $47million a year salary.

Kings of late night Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are neck-and-neck on the list, both with estimated salaries between $13million and $15million, while Conan O'Brien drags behind at bit at $12million.
