The 80s called... they want their jacket back! Karlie Kloss cuts a sophisticated figure in sequins and shoulder pads as she steps out in Paris
She’s made a series of bold style statements over the course of an eventful Paris Fashion Week.
But as the biannual event winds down statuesque model Karlie Kloss was clearly in no mood to buck a trend of her own making during an appearance in the French capital on Tuesday afternoon.
The American model, 24, successfully embraced an ongoing craze for vintage themed clothing as she stepped out for a stroll between what have been consistent runway show appearances.

Opting for a cropped sequined jacket with distinctive, sharply defined shoulder pads, Karlie clearly had the power dressing élan of the nineteen-eighties in mind while assembling her latest ensemble.
High-slung, generously cut leather trousers added to the 80’s theme, while a simple white T-shirt – visible between the lapels of her jacket – balanced a look largely comprised of dark, sophisticated colour tones.
Strappy flats gave the retro look a contemporary twist, while heavily tinted sunglasses, Karlie’s only visible accessory, rounded things off.

Sparkle and shine in a sequined Saint Laurent jacket
Karlie Kloss' off duty style is almost as glam as the new season looks she wears on the runway. She's been spotted all over Paris Fashion Week wearing high fashion designs by the likes of Moschino, Brandon Maxwell and Dior.
Here she went for an 80's inspired look when she sported a sequined jacket by Saint Laurent, relaxed fit leather pants and a white-shirt.
The sharp shoulders on Karlie's topper certainly give off a vintage feel and the cropped silhouette is super flattering.
We'd wear ours with a pair of cigarette jeans, a tank top and some sky high stilettos for a stylish evening out on the town.

A heavy application of dark red lipstick provided an added splash of colour, but its vibrant shade did not detract from the model’s stylish ensemble.
Model and muse Karlie was revealed as one of the faces behind L'Oreal's colour Riche Gold Obsession lipstick on Sunday.
She joined the likes of Cheryl, Naomi Campbell and Doutzen Kroes in painting the town red to celebrate the make-up launch that night too.

Stunning in a simple black dress, Karlie was every bit the best-dressed belle as she made the most of her model credentials.
She's known for her deep appreciation for beauty and make-up rituals, and uses her own YouTube channel to share her individual tips.
Karlie recently told Vogue that she's learned everything she knows from backstage at Fashion Week shows.
She said: 'Backstage is probably where I've learned the most about make-up. Having the opportunity to feel how it's applied and the brushes and products they choose…
'I see what all of the best make-up artists in the world use. They're very informed and experienced so I almost get to be the guinea pig, I feel like I've learned a lot just by being in the chair. My best trick is the less-is-more approach.
'Really small things that make a big difference. I think it's actually harder to do less.'
