Justin Timberlake performs rousing set at London concert as actor playing his younger self is spotted in Vancouver shooting Britney biopic

Justin Timberlake has come a long way from his days when he dated the princess of pop Britney Spears.

The 35-year-old cemented his own megastar status as he put on a show as part of the Capital FM Up Close intimate series in London, England on Monday.

Justin revved up the crowd singing SexyBack and other tunes while, roughly 4,700 miles away in Vancouver, Canada, the actor playing his younger self, Nathan Keyes, was performing quite a scene too.

Timberlake held the audience in sway at Indigo at The o2 Arena, clad in a silky black blazer, black jeans, white button-down shirt and saucy hat.

He had the faintest trace of facial buzz that gave his chiseled features an even more pronounced look.

The audience loved him with one tweeting, '3 songs in and this is one of the best performances I've ever seen @jtimberlake #CapitalUpClose @CapitalOfficial.'

Across the sea and land, Nathan was playing Justin when he was still a 20-year-old gangling guy who loved double denim outfits.

Keyes and Natasha Barrett, who is playing the Oops, I Did It Again singer in the unauthorized Lifetime movie, were seen holding hands and getting romantic while filming in front of the cameras.

The cameras captured the young stars leaning in for a kiss, bringing back that romance circa 2001 when all the world was watching.

Of course, the real Britney Spears wants nothing to do with the movie based on her early years.

The movie includes Britney's childhood in Louisiana, her rise to pop stardom, her romances and ill-fated marriage to Kevin Federline and becoming a mother to two boys, Sean, 11, and Jayden, 10.

One can assume that the real Justin probably feels inclined to turn his cheek on the film too, having moved on in his own life.

The former Mousketeer is now actor, singing sensation, husband to actress Jessica Biel and father to their 18-month-old son Silas.

Lifetime describes Britney Jean as the 'tumultuous true story' of her rise to pop stardom, her personal breakdown and career comeback with a successful Las Vegas act.
