A set of exclusive images from an upcoming book collecting the works of photographer Slim Aarons shows just what lavish lifestyles have been led by the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy (top right), Marilyn Monroe (bottom right) and Joan Collins. Slim Aarons: Women, released this week, was compiled and authored by the famed photographer's assistant Laura Hawk. Images include looks at exclusive resorts in sun-drenched locales and intimate depictions of movie stars.

A crowd gathered and started laughing and giggling at a couple of drug addicts collapsed after taking a heroin overdose in broad daylight on the streets of Memphis, Tennessee (pictured). A man posted live video on Facebook before the paramedics arrived to revive the couple, who are believed to be long-term drug addicts. Courtland Garner, who took the video, wrote: 'It was a spectacle. It made me laugh. They can't help themselves.'

Hunter Young (main) was found unresponsive near a piece of inflatable play equipment at the indoor centre Inflatable World Toowoomba (inset) at 1pm on Sunday. He was initially taken to Toowoomba Hospital then transferred to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital, but later died.Investigations into how the boy suffered serious injuries are continuing and the cause of death is yet to established. A post mortem is expected to be carried out.

The 'Budgie Nine' locked up in a Malaysian prison after stripping down to their speedos (main) have been revealed to include the son of an Australian diplomat and an adviser to senior Turnbull minister, Christoper Pyne. The men, aged 25 to 29, mostly attended elite private schools and the University of Sydney for studies of international relations and engineering. A Pakistani scholar has been asked to leave Australia after he was revealed to have said the world's troubles 'are because of the jews' and the world will be purified when they are wiped out. Muhammad Raza SaQib Mustafai, a sunni Muslim, had been in western Sydney for a speaking tour of mosques. The rest of his Australian tour was cancelled and he was asked to leave the country when a 2012 video of him delivering an anti-semitic sermon surfaced. Lithuanian lorry driver Vygantas Stanulis, 55, has been jailed for a year following the horrific incident which saw him career into the back of a Ford Fiesta stuck in traffic on the A2 near Kent. His vehicle, fully laden with steel, collided with a black Ford Fiesta which in turn hit a Iveco flatbed lorry carrying wooden pallets, during the crash on the coast-bound carriageway of the A2 at Harbledown, near Canterbury, at rush-hour on January 19. Dramatic dashcam footage shows the driver of the Fiesta being thrown through the windscreen of his vehicle upon impact, with his legs seen hanging out of the car. He suffered serious injuries in the crash despite the fact he was wearing a seatbelt.

Felix Alexander (right), 17, died when he stepped in front of an oncoming train near his home in Worcester on April 27, after telling his parents he was going to school. An inquest heard Felix had killed himself after suffering years of bullying. The torment started when he was 10 and a pupil at the £13,000-a-year King's School because he was not allowed to play violent video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (inset, a screenshot). He later became the victim of online trolls. His devastated mother Lucy (left with Felix), 51, has now written to bullies, teachers and parents, describing the torment he suffered.

People have been left baffled as they have been searching for something significant inside the red ring - not realising that the red ring is actually a hula hoop propped against the bed.

People along the East Coast entered better-safe-than-sorry mode Tuesday, flocking to hardware stores, grocery aisles and gas stations as Hurricane Matthew marched toward Florida, threatening to become the first hurricane to hit the state's Atlantic coast in over a decade. Matthew, a Category 4 storm packing winds of 145 mph, pummeled parts of Haiti and the Dominican Republic on Tuesday. The eye of Hurricane Matthew has now moved off the northeastern coast of Cuba as the storm headed into the southern Bahamas with its dangerous winds early Wednesday. At least 11 people in the Caribbean have died due to the storm. Four people died in the Dominican Republic, five in Haiti, one in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and one in Colombia. The storm was on track to rake the Southeastern coast and trek north by Thursday. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley said she planned to issue an evacuation order Wednesday so that 1 million people can safely leave the coast.

The mythological ape-like creature was allegedly spotted in Beulah, clearly walking on two legs as it is filmed walking through the trees and then appearing to jump over a branch and down a slope a few feet below.Many believe the figure's agility proves it cannot just be a human playing a prank in an ape suit.

Amanda Knox is celebrating her freedom by declaring to the world that she is in a relationship. A man has posted footage of what he says looks like a 'dead mermaid' washed up on a beach near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. The images have since gone viral, with many people actually believing it is a mermaid, while others say it's a decomposing seal or a great Halloween prop with garbage bags used to create the 'tail'.

A suspected drug dealer is held with his hands behind his back by two men and shot at point blank range in the back of the head. He is the latest victim of President Rodrigo Duterte's deadly narcotics war in which more than 3,000 people have been murdered in extra-judicial attacks since June. Critics blame the murders on president Duterte, who has controversially claimed he would be happy to slaughter three million drug users, giving vigilantes a licence to kill with impunity.

NEW Christine Sydelko, 22, a well known personality on Vine, was on her favorite ride at Disneyland on the weekend when she had a realization. She noticed that the caterpillar character on the front of the Heimlich Chew Chew Train from A Bug's Life looked just like her. She shared an image of herself grinning the same grin as the character on Twitter, where it has since been shared more than 130,000 times.

Government forces claim they will reduce strikes to 'allow civilians to reach safe areas' - as a top official in Syria's main opposition said violence in the city is reaching 'genocidal proportions'. Pictures of an attack on a neighbourhood in the city appear to show simultaneous small explosions, suggesting the use of cluster bombs which are banned by more than 100 countries. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says more than 450 civilians have died since September 19.

Neil Carpenter faced a £2,000 repair bill after a mother and her two sons left excrement on beds and walls at his house in Tow Law, County Durham and used the bath as a toilet. The two-bedroom terrace had bags of rubbish piled a metre high outside, rubbish strewn about indoors and the toilet had become unusable after being blocked with a child's toy.

Russian media outlets have blasted the video for Robbie Williams' new single 'Party Like A Russian'and even threatened he will 'never' be able to perform in the country again. Party Like A Russian samples Sergei Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights, which is more commonly known as the theme tune to The Apprentice. The video shows Williams (pictured) adopting the role of a larger than life Russian oligarch, surrounded by ballerinas. Williams has topped the charts throughout his career but his latest release looks set to be his biggest flop ever. 'Party Like A Russian' has entered the mid-week charts at number 53.

Jacob Riglin, 21, from Richmond in London wants someone to join his team to take pictures of the most famous cities in the world having landed his dream job all thanks to his Instagram account. After his stunning snaps of England's capital, reported on MailOnline, saw his work gain worldwide recognition, he has been paid to visit Hong Kong, New York, Venice and other sought-after destinations to capture them from above. Now, he is looking for an apprentice, and his job advert reads: 'As you catch a fireball on Dubai's horizon, there's not a single car or skyscraper in sight - it's just you and one of the wildest landscapes in the world.'

A teacher in Portugal has thrilled his students with a stunning science experiment, dramatically setting fire to a large container full of aerosol spray, and using the roaring flames to create a vacuum. The students yell out in amazement when the teacher puts his hand over the top of the container, causing it to shrink.

David Shale from Tusbury, in Devon (pictured bottom left), was able to capture images of the creatures whilst spending time on British research vessels all over the world, including European and US waters. The animals were placed in containers on the remotely operated vehicles before being brought back to the surface where Mr Shale could photograph them in his 'cold room'.
