And proud father John Legend gushed about his little girl in an interview for Notion Magazine where he looks dapper in a number of slick suits for a Prom King inspired shoot.

The 37-year-old singer revealed: ‘Well I think it shifts your priorities a bit, gives you a new perspective. You realise what’s important for you, for your family and for your career.'

In one shot, the All Of Me singer looked handsome in a fitted navy three-piece suit against a gold backdrop.

'It just takes over your life when you have a child,' he added to the magazine: 'I spent a lot of time at home with her for the first three months and with my wife, you know, it just humbles you.

'Everyone struggles with being a new parent, everyone’s trying to figure it out and I think it’s a humbling process.’

And despite being a hands-on father, the ten-time Grammy award winner looked well rested in the high-school inspired shots, one of which saw him donning a bow-tie on top of a crisp white shirt as he held on to balloons.

While his model missus Chrissy has built a high profile modelling career based on her stunning genes, John also proved to be photogenic in a full tuexdo which he wore on the front cover - looking slightly inquisitive with a raised eyebrow.

John proposed to Chrissy back in 2011 after four years of dating. They married two years in later in Como, Italy.

'It just takes over your life' John also revealed he spent the majority of his time at home with Luna and Chrissy during the first three months

Meanwhile, John - who has won as Oscar for his songwriting abilities - also spoke to Notion about how his later start to fame did him favours.

‘I think it was helpful for me to become famous when I was an adult already; I was twenty-six years old,' he said.

'I think it’s harder for people that become famous when they’re a lot younger because you never had to be an adult without being in this very unrealistic world.'

The star is also set to release his fifth studio album and spoke about his upcoming work: 'It’s a bit more of a live band sound than previous albums, we used a live drummer more than we used to, so on a sonic side that’s one of the biggest differences, it gives it a more soulful feel I think.’
