The cool, calm and collected baker has whipped up banquets including orange and honey duck, grilled chicken seasoned with homemade jerk marinade and sweet ice cream cupcakes.

One of his banquets that really got fans buzzing was his typical Ghanaian feast of eight hour slow roast pork served with crackling, apple sauce, homemade coleslaw, bagels and honey mustard sausages.

Last week saw him cooking up a seafood themed feast consisting of chilli prawns, parmesan crust tilapia, lime coconut prawns, octopus, squid and seabream, as well as Philly Cheesesteak, brisket, onions, peppers, melted cheese, and vegan dishes for his guests.

Tonight will see him whipping up a game meat feast of rabbit, pheasant, poussin, quail, guinea fowl and 'mega chorizo scotch eggs'.

Selasi recently broke thousands of hearts after revealing he has a girlfriend. Bake Off fans took to social media to express their sorrow after the Ghanaian-born hunk, 30, dropped the bomb on the show.

The banker broke the news by telling judges that he was using a recipe from his 'girlfriend's mum' during the 'signature bake' Yorkshire pudding challenge for Batter Week.

All talk on Twitter suddenly moved to Selasi's relationship status during the fourth episode of series seven.

Brydie Lee-Kennedy ‏wrote: 'Selasi said "girlfriend" and I swear I heard Britain's heart shatter. #GBBO.'

Lydia Mulvey added: 'So Selasi has a girlfriend. I've just heard the collective howl of dismay from millions of British women #GBBO.'

Claire West ‏wrote: '"Passed down from my girlfriend's mum." And with that, millions of hopes and dreams are crushed. #Selasi #GBBO #HeIsntSingle.'

Selasi, who moved to the UK 15 years ago, has won the hearts of Bake Off fans for his very relaxed demeanour and cheeky smile.

When Selasi's not working in the City, he's baking for charity cake sales and fundraising.

He recently ran a 10k race, a half marathon and trekked through Milawi.

As we saw in the first GBBO episode, Selasi is also a keen biker and even has his own Sunday Motorcycle Club.
