She was left shaken after being attacked twice last week by overzealous fans.

And Fifth Harmony star Ally Brooke clearly took the incidents very seriously as she left her Dublin hotel flanked by several burly bodyguards on Tuesday, seemingly under the disguise of an all-new look.

The 23-year-old and her bandmates, who rose to fame on X Factor USA in 2012, were surrounded by heavy security as they made their way to the bus amid throngs of excited fans.

Despite the security threat, the singer flashed a defiant smile as she stepped out in a tartan dress teamed with barely there nude heels.

Just that day, sharing a picture to Instagram, the pretty brunette revealed that she had undergone a complete image overhaul in the wake of the attacks.

Now cropped and bleached at the tips, she wore her usually long hair in a short textured style and hid her eyes behind oversized sunglasses.

Her bandmate Camila Cabello, wrapped up in a fur coat against the Irish chill, was guided by security past a row of fans wanting selfies.

Carrying a heavy guitar case on her back, she quickly slipped by and hopped onto the bus.

She was joined by fellow members Normani Hamilton, who wore a grungy double denim ensemble and Lauren Jauregui, although Dinah Jane Hansen was nowhere to be seen.

Ally was ambushed onstage last Thursday in Mexico by a male fan, who slipped past security, attempted to embrace her and then dragged her to the ground.

As thousands of fans looked on in shock, a member of the hired security team stormed behind the interloper, quickly tackling and removing him from the stage.

While the shocking incident appeared to ruffle the 23-year-old slightly, she quickly recovered, leaping back to her feet in a split second and eventually resuming her performance.

Footage of the incident was shared on Twitter, with scores of fans expressing their shock at what they saw.

Ally's encounter with the uninvited guest came just two days after she was grabbed by an over-excited fan when arriving in Mexico.

She later took to her Instagram account to ask for calm - while also sharing that her upcoming shows south of the border was part of a lifelong dream.

'Just to let you know, I am okay after the airport incident,' she wrote. 'Please be careful and gentle so nobody gets hurt. That was scary. Thank you!'

She added: Monterrey, I couldn't be happier to be here! Its been a dream of mine since I was little.

'My favorite singer Selena Quintanilla had many beautiful performances here. And now I get to perform in this city! I am beyond honored & proud (sic).'
