He resembles a cute teddy bear and looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth.

But Katy Perry's adorable pet pooch Butters found himself in a bit of trouble with his famous owner recently.

The star revealed the dinky dog defecated on her mobile phone, and documented the whole incident via Snapchat.

Katy posted the offending snapshot of her ruined iPhone with the caption: 'There are no words.'

The singer also snapped a picture of her legs walking on tiptoe in the house writing 'thoughts from the victim.'

The Dark Horse singer is inseparable from her pet pooch, taking him out on red carpets with her and regularly posting snapshots of him on her Instagram account.

She recently posed with the tiny pooch in her backpack as well as dress him up in a pair of sunglases and an 'I voted' sticker.

The star has been busy urging people to vote in the forthcoming U.S. election, recently stripping naked in a new Funny Or Die video.

In the clip, the 31-year-old singer is seen waking from her slumber sporting patriotic pajamas and messy bed hair, complete with popcorn and a lollipop as she declares: 'I've got some great news: This year, you can look like s*** when you vote.'

Katy, an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, then walks to her polling station, passing other voters in their nightwear as she explains: 'Yep, I've briefly scanned the Constitution, and nowhere does it say that you can't just roll out of bed and come to the polls in whatever state you woke up in.

The Dark Horse hitmaker is a very vocal supporter of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

The US Presidential debate was broadcast on the same day as the Roar hitmaker posted her naked video still, and the star had no hesitation in tweeting her thoughts on the event, expressing her adoration and backing for the 68-year-old candidate.
