He is believed to be one of the world's greatest ballet dancers of all time.

But Mikhail Baryshnikov seems to be most proud of his daughter Anna who he had with Lisa Rinehart.

The icon beamed as he posed with the star at the New York premiere of her new film, Manchester By The Sea.

Not only is Mikhail an accomplished dancer and choreographer, he's also an Oscar-nominated actor, having been acknowledged for his work in the 1977 film, The Turning Point.

So acting runs in their genes.

'Anna's 24. She's had theater training. She went to Northwestern and at first we resisted but she always wanted to be onstage,' he revealed to Page Six.

'She is my award': While there, Mikhail had nothing but praise for his daughter's work

'We haven't seen the movie. I am so nervous to see this. But I was always nervous, even about my own performances. Listen, I don't even go to my own openings.'

'Some say her work could win an award. What are awards? I don't even care about my own award. She is my award,' gushed the father-of-four.

Anna plays Sandy in the R-rated drama, Machester by the Sea.

The film stars Casey Affleck as Lee Chandler, a man who is left to care for his nephew after his brother Joe -played by Friday Night Light's star Kyle Chandler- dies.

He must then return to his hometown, where he must face his former friends and estranged wife (played by Michelle Williams).

As for Anna, she can next be seen in two TV series', Model Woman and Superior Donuts.

Baryshnikov has an elder daughter Aleksandra Baryshnikov, 35, from his relationship with actress Jessica Lange and three children with Rinehart: Peter, 27, Anna and Sofia, 22.
