But Selma Blair stepped out again with her handsome silver-haired pal on Tuesday, re-igniting rumours of a romance as the duo stopped to get coffee at Alfred's on Melrose.

The 44-year-old actress appeared to be wearing a pajama shirt as she strolled in the sun with her favourite companion.

For comfort she wore cuffed jeans and white loafers and wore her hair up in a youthful ponytail.

A stylish Chanel handbag and some circular sunglasses added to her casual look.

The actress smiled throughout as she chatted and walked with her friend.

Selma's pal, who she's often seen out on casual outings with, also kept it low-key in a blue t-shirt and jeans.

The actress seems to be doing well after suffering a meltdown on board a flight from Mexico to Los Angeles with Bleick and their son Arthur, five, in June.

In a statement published by Vanity Fair, Selma confessed she'd 'made a big mistake.'

Said the actress: 'After a lovely trip with my son and his dad, I mixed alcohol with medication and that caused me to black out and led me to say and do things that I deeply regret.'

The former Anger Management star needed medical assistance after disturbing fellow passengers with a bizarre rant as she jetted home with Arthur and Arthur's dad Jason from a Father's Day trip.

The actress explained in her statement that her son was asleep at the time and did not witness his mother's behavior.
